 Not much of a poster but I do lurk around a lot here and the other place. My story, I bought my 1st Hi Point a C9 as an Xmas gift for my wife, when it came I knew it would not be for her, to heavy and a little awkward so she got a Ruger SR22 (my 5th Ruger) When I shot the HP it had some issues, FDF FTE etc so I posted on the other site and happend to mention how much I liked my Rugers, what a mistake trust me I am not a gun snob or an idiot. I really like the look of the old style carbine stock so when I decided to buy one that's what I looked for, I posted on the other sight (should have learned) trying to get some info on price and what could be done to customize it a little, all I got from most was they are cheap buy a new one, I don't want the TS stock. I think I will be coming here from now on judging by some of your posts looks like some good people. By the way I sold the C9 but missed it so bad I bought it back for $10 more than what it sold for.

If you want to discuss anything, this is a good place to do so.

:welcome: Hi from the Commonwealth of Kentucky. I'm still pretty new here, but this is a great forum with lots of good folks and one nutjob.

If the mentally deficient are not allowed to own guns then why should they be allowed to make gun laws?

:welcome: Welcome P95!!! :welcome:
And glad you put up a post and joined in the discussion!! :D
Geez - That Nut Job comment... You can go anywhere with that!!
There's some idiot here reloading the 25 ACP - Now THERE is a Nut Job for ya!!

All kidding aside - You will not find a better bunch of guys anywhere on the net than right here.
It'd be nice if we could have a few more - Like you for instance!! :great: But sometimes less is more.

The "other" site is bigger - but you see it everywhere on the big forums - It turns into a "Look at
how smart I am" contest or a "I'll feel better about myself by insulting this guy" thing.

That doesn't happen here!! Even the "BL-66 Incident"... EVERYBODY here couldn't have
been nicer to that guy!! I teased the crap out of him and tried to put him on the spot a little bit,
about some of the things he said - and tried to have a little fun doing it - But it never descended
down into a name calling, pissing contest!! It always had some point that was being made or
question being asked.

Sorry to swerve so far off the road here... I enjoy "bragging up" my beloved HPT forum here...
And I like it when someone new - or even a "lurker" - puts up their 1st post and kinda "breaks the ice"!! :D

So don't be afraid to throw your :opinion: in whenever you feel like it!!

I'll never forget my 1st post here - I still have some emotional scars from Amp's response to it...

Thanks, just got an email from my FFL says my used 995 has arrived I will try to pick it up later this week. My plan is to just repack it and send it to HP to make sure its safe to shoot After that will be looking for some advise on customizing it. Thinking about a camo paint job if you watch the The Last Ship that's what I am going to try and replicate
