Hey there everyone. New guy here from Maryland, and also a new Hi-Point 995ts owner.

Hadn't shot anything in 25 years and ended up buying 2 tactical 12 gauge shotguns...one a Norinco and one a Savage Arms Stevens 320 with pistol grip. Stopped at the local range and didn't like the "feel" of the Norinco so traded it in on the one I was staring at for 15 minutes while waiting for range lane...a 995 TS. I already added front pistol grip and ordered a stock mounted magazine holder and 2 extra magazines....just wish the shipping times were a little more realistic on them...I've been buying car parts from Jegs and Summit (both also in Ohio) for 20 years and nothing has ever taken more than 2 days...so far it's been 4 and I had hoped to have the extra magazines for the weekend. ..oh well.

Anyway, so far, I'm loving the new carbine (9mm) and look forward to learning more about it from fellow owners.

Here's my youngest son trying out the 995 and my 12 gauge...he loved the 995, but as for the 12 gauge...not so much. I think he had the stock too high on his torso.
