I live in a town where freedom means not letting other people control your life. an armed society is a polite society didnt just refer to firearms. its a call to educate, instruct, and question. to use your brain as a tool. both weapon and shield. only an intelligent armed person can stop freedom from being taken.

so as mom use to say "dont let anyone control your mood your mind or your heart" and dad would say "quit being a wee pussy and go get me a beer"

i guess both forms of parenting worked

I guess I better get that "Blood for Blood" song out of my head then!! :D
I guess I really don't care what anyone shoots, drives or rides - Their choice!!
I know when I bought my Hi Point I didn't know much about pistols, but I did know about price!!
There she was - my JHP - in the glass case on the bottom shelf at Cabela's.
My SIL just paid $450+ for a used Glock 21 the day before, and here was a brand spankin' new .45 for less than half that!!
So I bought it!! I've shot it a bunch - around 3,000 rounds so far. I am starting to wonder how many rounds I can run through it before I wear stuff out. :D
The other SIL bought a 1911 Springfield and he's an full on gun snob - but he is getting a little better.

Anyway, for the money, it's hard to beat a Hi Point!! I sure have enjoyed my JHP.
Maybe someday I might try another brand - but for now, I'm doin' good...

You don't worry about wearing them out. You're just getting them ready for a trip back to Ohio.

Much better choice than the Glock. You may want to join him some day. Hi Points and 1911s live together very well on the same shelf in a safe.

they promised me a sticker if I helped get another site started (with a certain # of posts). Well I did that, and am still waiting for the sticker. And I am proud of being an asshole! It's one of the few things I do REALLY well!
