so I've decided I might like a carbine and have a few leads on some. What's your thoughts about your favorite one?

I've always been a .45 kind'a guy and when the 4595 came out it replaced the 995 in my affections.

I would like to find a good deal on a 4095 and rechamber it to 10mm. I think that would be fun.

I chose .40 because the velocity/energy is high and would benefit most form the longer barrel (me thinks?)

see, I'm thinking the 40 so I can use the same mags in both my pistol and the carbine.

I voted for the 45 - I want one!! I think a pistol caliber in a carbine would be a lot of fun!! :doublegun: Haven't ever shot one but have watched a few videos.

My brother wants the 45 too. Hey! I got it! he gets the 45, I get the 40, and my beautiful bride gets the 9. then we can all get to shoot them all! :minigun:
Wait, he lives a long way from us, almost a mile. But I reckon it could still work huh.

I know ALL these things (already built commercial, and reloading components) will be going up, what with idiots EPA closing down 50% of lead production and them trying to prohibit all things of this sport. However, it will always be cheaper to roll your own.

I have had a 995 a 4095 and now a 4595TS. I have to say that I really like the new carbine, and I think if you loaded the 45 hot you could come out with a good shooting carbine.

actually though, you will love which ever one that you get.

45+P+ works just great in my 4595 carbine. The rifle flat loves the hotter stuff and will ring that gong with authority.
In fact earlier today I managed to drop a few in on a 10 inch gong at a paced off 235 yards. These cheapo rifles may be inexpensive but they are an excellent value for your firearm dollar. My 4595 continues to impress me every time I try something new with her. I might even name her, THATS how much I'm coming to love my HP carbine.

I voted for the 4595 because mine is very fun to shoot. I don't own a 4095 so I don't know. I would think the .40 might be better for longer range shooting. At 100 yards my .45 is like shooting mortar rounds (just kidding) but inside of 100 yards it's very accurate.
