Had a business meeting with my partner/brother yesterday. As usual we met at one of the local indoor ranges, way better than meeting in a bar or coffee shop. While there, one of his pistols started acting up, take a shot and the slide locks back. He would rack another shell into battery, take a shot, and the slide would lock back. Almost every shot. He said he had cleaned it the night before and suspected he used too much oil. I told him I thought something broke, probably the LRHO.
He called me today and told me the ambi safety was broken and causing the LRHO to engage and the new part was already on its way to him. So, props to Bersa for quick action, but it got me to thinking. This is the same pistol that the take-down lever broke on right after he got it. This was his EDC pistol (Bersa Pro Ultra Compact-.40SW) until he recently got a little Sig .380. I think he's really glad he's no longer carrying a Bersa.
Anyone else have problems with their Bersa pistols breaking parts?

I've got a couple Bersas, but honestly don't shoot them enough to break them.
They seem like nice guns though.

Friend has a Thunder that he's had for years now with no issues... granted, he's probably only shot it 3 times. :)

If the mentally deficient are not allowed to own guns then why should they be allowed to make gun laws?
