Haven't taken this one out as of yet, it's been almost constant rain for the last week or so here in Missouri. Looks like this weekend might dry up enough to get out to my little range and do a break-in and set the scope on this one. Decided to try out a 1:8 twist barrel from Spinta Precision on this one to break from my usual Anderson 1:8 barrel, hope it performs as well as I'm used to. I've got $517 in this one including the optics. I could have done it for less had I not thrown on a few items to "give it character" like the pistol grip, laser engraved dust cover, ambi charging handle, anti-walk hammer and trigger pins, bipod. etc....

Yeah, at $74 I'm wondering too. Couldn't find any bad reviews for them across the Interwebs. I'm hoping to get my truck repairs and mowing down soon enough tomorrow to get some range time in with it, have two days of more rain forecast for Thursday and Friday and have company coming both days on the weekend.

Looks good mo. I used a Cotton Arms 1:7 mid length. $65 was too good not to try it.

scope is just a Barska 3-9x40, I've been using them for years and never had a problem so saw no need to spend more. They've held up fine on everything from the WASR to my .50 BP rifle.

Trigger is just whatever came in the LPK off ebay, found a guy on there selling them with no PG and God knows I have like 10 A2 grips laying around already. Stoned the surfaces just enough to get rid of the minor machining marks, it breaks clean and crisp, haven't measured the pull yet.

Looks Good!

My second build got as far as the lower parts kit install and the buttstock stuff (a completed lower) and then money ran out. The upper still has nothing in or on it. One of these days I'll decide what caliber I want too. Likely go with 7.62 again. :dunno: It's what I got, so might as well stick with it. Just have way too many irons in the fire getting way too hot right now. :groan:
