Well after owning my first firearm (hipoint c9), for about a month, im glad to say I love hipoints! I was a little leery after doing my initial research, but after more thorough googling I liked what I heard. Pulled the trigger, lol, and bought a c9 online from budsgunshop.com for 160+$10 for shipping. The day after I got it I went to the range and put 300 wwb 115 gr. fmj through it with only 2 fail to feeds. Let the mag sit fully loaded and took it back to the range a few days later, and fired another 200 of the same with no problems. I thought these blew up and werent reliable! Hahahah. After cleaning I put another 300 rounds through it no problem. Im glad I didnt fall for all the bad hype. I absolutley love my pistol and would recommend it to anyone needing a low cost, no nonsense pistol. And ive already order a set of carbon fiber hydro-dipped grips from siarsenal.com and 2 extra mags. ill update with pics as soon as they arrive!

We are better off from having known you Dean Stephens -(ampersand) It wont be the same around here without you.

Ya it kinda changes my opinion of some hipoint haters out there.. that if there so willing to hate on something, that to me has proven to be very reliable, what else are they willing to hate on that they have never personally experienced..like any other weapon that have never owned/operated...lol I never give opinions on something I have never dealt with. And im glad to be here on hipoint talk instead of hpff, which im a member of but have been criticized for some questions I asked before I actually purchased my c9

I think you will find that for the most part we are pretty easy to get along with here.

Welcome! Many of us at one point or another have had the same experience you did at HPFF which is of course, why we are here!
Sit down and chat a spell! Nobody here bites except for Amp. And that's just 'cause he's old and crotchity. He's earned that right! LOL

I don't understand Hipoint haters either. I can appreciate a high end pistol with a nice finish and an action that is smooth as glass. But I can also appreciate a low cost git-er-done pistol like the Hipoint too. The engineering challenges are much greater in designing a$150 pistol that works than a $1k pistol.

Remember boom, the HPs can be made to have a very nice trigger for no money!

The stock trigger on my cf380 feels just right to me. There are a lot of higher priced pistols with triggers that I could not stand.

That's surprising, I figured the "melt point" would have done them in like it does in several states that use that as a criteria.
