Is it just me, or do the HiPoints get more reliable as the caliber grows? My JHP i frankly don't remember any??!!

Correct me if you remember any Ex?

Do the .380's have any relilability issues?? I know the C9's do occasionally :good one:

All the calibers work great the only weak point is the mags. My girlfriend loves her HP 380 it feels like your shooting a 22
:great: :great: :great:
Mags are definitely the weak point. De-burring and leaving full is the best advice I have. I they continue to fail, get replacements from mom.

Have you sanded undersides of feed lips yet? I know you’ve left them full already...

Have you de-burred the under side of the mag lips yet? I know you've left them full...
if that doesn't solve it, I'd call Mom

My JCP had horrible problems with the magazine that came with it. MOM sent me another with an orange follower and no problems since.

I think (from reading... as the c9 is the only one I have) that odds of problems are equally spread
across the board. All, mostly breakin or mag problems.

I'm not having any problems with my JHP or the carbine!! I have a friend that has one of the Walther's .380's. He gave me a bunch of ammo because it wouldn't cycle his slide! It runs fine in my P3AT from KelTec, which has one of the lightest slides I know of!! It just seemed to me that more power is better!

I seldom hear of anyone having trouble with anything but the C9!?

I guess it is how one (mis)treats their C9.

In Aug 2011, I bought one used from a feller who had bought it new along with 200 rounds (100 rds/WWB and 100rds/Federal) of 9mm ammo. He'd fired it 25 times and had two Fail to Feeds and two Fail to Ejects. At that point, he'd decided the C9 had to go.

I paid $100 for the pistol and 175 rounds of ammo. I called MOM and was told not to use the Winchester White Box ammo. I used the Federal ammo and had two FTF's and one FTE in the first 50 rounds and none in the second 50 rounds.

Since then, practicing every three weeks or so, I have managed to put more than 5,000 rounds through my C9, trouble free. It shoots where I point it, and functions so flawlessly, that other folk shooting much more expensive pistols have left early after experiencing many troubles with their weapons, after telling me I wasted my money, or, Hi-Point only makes junk.

I have certainly gotten my money's worth with this C9!
