Evening Boys,
My neighbor just showed me his 40 mm hp and said it jam's. I have not checked it out as of yet, but remember how adjusting the mag lips on my c9 fixed it. Is there any info on adjusting the lips on the 40 on here any where? I can't seem to find it.
Also, any info on taking a 40 apart for cleaning?

Didn't know ya could get a 40 mm HiPoint.

As for the .40 s&w JCP, I had an issue and tried everything to fix it. Finally someone on the other forum said the mags with the green follower didn't work. I ordered a new one from mom ant it had an orange follower. Problem solved and I got three more mags with orange followers.

Evenin' Hobbles! .40 comes apart exactly like the C9. What kind of jams does it get? And 40mm is awfully big...if he's loading 40mm into an HP S&W .40 that's why it's jamming! ;)

Get more info on what kind of jam he means. Stove pipes? FTE's? How many rounds though it? Did it EVER work right and maybe just need cleaned? Then we'll have something to go on.

I worked up these specs years ago when I was a member on another Hi Point forum, once I got banned I figured why let them use them and moved the pic on my Photobucket... I adjusted 7 mags to these specs, based on the one mag that I had that ran perfectly, and after that they all ran 100%. The very first thing to do is to take a pencil and wrap it in emery cloth and run it inside the ears to make sure there aren't any burrs on the inside, these alone can cause major problems.

+1 to the underside of the ears... depends on what the malfunction is.

All the new mags are buffed to remove the rough edges from the feed lips. The rear and mid are good at .365 to .375 and the front is good from .390 to .400.

Thanks Makemine! Glad to know they are doing lip buffing now. IMHO that exactly has historically been a main issue.

Did HiPoint add a new gun to the line up? I wonder if I can mount one in my truck?

Now that's a Gold Wing. Those mini guns would look good on a turret on the roof with that 40 mm in the box.

Let me add that as far as I know it's just the .40 cal for now.
